BMGC Member's online tee booking

Updated: Jun 20, 2020

The following lays out the instructions for using the new Members online tee booking system for both social golf and for Club comps. Please read it fully...especially the guidance on booking 18-hole rounds! A PDF copy has been emailed out to all Members - so you might find it more convenient to print that out for reference purposes.

Support for Members without the facility to access online booking can be had by contacting Dave Parlett (his telephone number was sent out to all Members recently) or by contacting the Comp Sec, Richard Taylor between 12 noon and 2 p.m. on any weekday on 01274 771716.

Bradford Moor Golf Club…Members’ online tee booking system

Hi there…we are delighted to announce that our online booking system for general and social play and Club Comps is now live and here’s how you go about using it.

STEP 1 - Set-up your unique password and access the system

Go to the ‘Members’ page on the Club website www.bradfordmoorgolfclub.co.uk and you’ll see the link to Masterscoreboard which is your access point for competition results, handicap information and, as of now, tee bookings for general play and club competitions.

Note: If you are doing this on a smartphone you will then get an option to use the Mobile Site or Desktop Site – I suggest the Mobile Site for phone users…any instructions below for Mobile users will assume you have made this choice!

Select your name from the dropdown list of BMGC Members and enter the default password (this will be/has been emailed to you by the Club) – if you have not received it please email info@bradfordmoorgolfclub.co.uk with the subject line “Members booking password” and making sure you include your full name and correct email address and a contact telephone number and we will try again.

You will then be asked to set an individual password – this is unique to you and make sure it’s something that you can remember – or that it is securely stored somewhere!

You can also check the ‘Remember Me’ box which will mean that you won’t have to scroll through and find your name next time you log on.

You are now set-up and ready to book a tee slot but you need to be aware that all bookings (other than Club Competitions) are FOR NINE HOLES ONLY!!!! If you want to play 18 holes this is fine but YOU MUST BOOK A SECOND SLOT 2 HOURS LATER THAN YOUR INITIAL TEE-TIME (i.e. if you’re booked on at 8:30 a.m. you must book on the same players at 10:30 a.m. in order to play 18 holes). If you do not do this the course will become congested and we will be in infraction of Golf England and R&A Guidelines which could open up the club to serious consequences.

The instructions now diverge when it comes to booking a tee-slot – Mobile Site users continue below – Desktop Site users skip a page to “STEP 2 – Desktop Users”

STEP 2 Mobile users – your screen will look like this…

Select ‘Future Competitions’ and it changes to…

In order to book a general play Tee slot you need the “Golf Course” tab so click on that…and you’ll get a list of available dates.

Select a date and you will see a list of available time slots for that day…select your slot. You then need to check the box to agree to the terms of entry (there are none at present) and continue.

Select the numbers of players you are booking for…each member can book on up to four players in each slot (Members or Guests). Select your playing partners from the drop-down list (or type in their names if they are not Members) and continue. If you are booking on a Guest then you will see a dummy payment screen as online payments are not yet live. It is your responsibility to make sure that your Guest(s)’ Green fees are paid – you can put cash in an envelope marked with your Guest(s)’ name, tee time and date and push it through the Office door…or make arrangements to pay by card or cheque in a reasonable time scale.

You will be presented with a Summary of the booking and then you can confirm it. If you drop out of the booking half way through (please don’t!) you will lock that time slot for everyone including yourself for 10-15 minutes…so only use a proper ‘Cancel’ button if you do change your mind part way through booking.

Congratulations!! You have just booked for 9 holes…if you want to play 18 – GO BACK AND DO IT ALL AGAIN FOR THE TEE SLOT 2 HOURS LATER!!!!

If you need to cancel a confirmed tee-time booking then simply start the booking process again and instead of selecting a date to play select the option above the list of dates to ‘Cancel an existing booking’. You can also use this option to see a list of your current bookings without proceeding to cancel them.

Club Competitions…simply select “Future Competitions” above and you will be able to book on from the Monday preceding any Comp…starting with the Roy Cragg Memorial Medal on 14th June. Please note: you cannot cancel Competition entries online – to request a cancellation or amendment to a Comp booking contact Richard Taylor, Comp Sec by email on info@bradfordmoorgolfclub.co.uk All booked future Comp entries are show in the ‘My Golf’ section on the Masterscoreboard Mobile Home page.
