As you will be aware the restriction on numbers of players in a group on the course has been lifted making 4-balls (and, therefore, Club Competitions) allowable once again.
In addition we have introduced an on-line system for booking of tees for both social golf and Club Competitions. this is accessed via the Members page of this website and full instructions for using the system are laid out in a separate post on this page and have been sent out to all BMGC Members. Please note the different methods for booking and amending/cancelling general (social) play tee-times and Club Competition slots. In particular...please make sure that you understand how to book to play 18 holes of social golf...our being a 9-hole course complicates this slightly but it is important! Failure to book correctly may put us in breach of England Golf and R&A guidelines, which could have serious consequences for the Club.
Please note the Club's COVID-19 policy (found on the Members page and on this page) is in force and must be adhered to at all times.
Other guidelines previously published still apply with minor variations...
Members may play one 18-hole round on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday (5 day members) as well as Saturday and Sunday (7 day members) - you can, of course, still book for 9 holes on these days if you want to.
Tuesday and Thursday play will be limited to 9 hole rounds only and there will be dedicated slots for Pay and Play Visitors (8:40 -9:30 in the mornings and 3:00 to 3:50 in the afternoons) - Members may book any slot outside of these times .
You must book either online using the Master Scoreboard system, or (for a short time yet) by calling the Club on 01274 771716 between 12 noon and 2 pm Monday to Friday.
You may bring Guests at any booked time...please note that you need to make arrangements to pay your Guest(s)' Green Fee with the Comp Sec (see booking instructions) as cash cannot be accepted on arrival. The Green Fees for Members' Guests are £5 for 9 holes, £10 for 18 holes.
Booking (online and by telephone) will be opened a week in advance (on Mondays for the following weekend's competitions). If booking by telephone, you must book for the Weekend and Monday tee-times by Friday of the previous week.
Do not turn up and expect to be able to play if you have not booked on, even if times are available, this would breach the Government Guidance on track and trace
