Members - re-opening of golf at BMGC
We are please to announce that as from 13th May we will be able to reopen the golf course for play to BMGC Members only. We hope to have systems in place to welcome Visitors to Bradford Moor again in the near future but this is simply not possible at present whilst following Government guidelines on social distancing and protecting our staff appropriately. Whilst we are very happy to be able to play golf again, the Coronavirus is still very much with us and so we will be strictly adhering to the government’s rules on social distancing and general safety. In essence, we will be discouraging any socialising at the golf club both before and after golf. This is contrary to our normal instincts and not ideal, but it will minimise the chance of the virus spreading. Your co-operation and help is greatly appreciated. So, in order to play golf safely, the Club has issued a policy containing instructions for conduct this is available to view in a separate article on this page and via a link on the Members page. This has also been sent to BMGC Members by email. Please read this policy carefully and abide by its instructions when on the course and around the Club premises.

Booking a tee-time
Initially we will be operating a telephone booking service so that we can make sure that access to the course is appropriately shared out across our membership. There will be strict limits on the numbers of tee slots each member can book (3 per week for 5 day members; 3 per week + 1 weekend slot for Full Members). Available tee slots start from 12:00 noon on Wednesday 13th May at 10 minute intervals.
To book please call the club on 01274 771716 at the following times when the Competition Secretary, Richard Taylor will be available to take your booking.
Monday 11th May between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Tuesday 11th May between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Thereafter, any day, Monday to Friday between 12 noon and 2 p.m. only until further notice.
Please note that the Committee has put these systems and restrictions in place to allow you to take up golf again in the safest possible conditions. We sincerely hope that we will be able to gradually ease these restrictions over time in line with Government guidance.
