We held a children’s Easter Party at Bradford Moor on Sunday 31st March.
Inside we had activity stations set up where you could make ‘loo roll bunnies’! Painted loo rolls and the children coloured in bunny templates and made a loo roll bunny - simples! This activity was very popular. We also had Easter egg templates to colour in, paper plate makes and masks to wear, just for fun! And, of course, a raffle.
Our outdoor activities included a traditional egg and spoon race – we had 5 races in the relevant age groups and then we had the adult race too.
It was good fun and unpredictable…..one child dropped the egg off the spoon, picked it up, held it in one hand, held the spoon in the other and ran like the wind !
The adults did a little bit of cheating too mind.
We also had an egg hunt, the children had to find laminated colourful egg and carrots (in case of bad weather), which we hid around the club house, and these were exchanged for sweets and mini eggs.
The Easter Bunny also paid us a visit, waving his 'Hellos’ and handing out plenty of little eggs.
All the children and adults had a fun day and they went away with plenty of eggs, sweets and a little toy.
A buffet was also provided by Tom with hot dogs, sandwiches, crisps, pizza and cakey buns!
