A hole-in-one is a rare enough thing in our game - but two? on consecutive days? scored by a husband and wife?...the odds against must be astronomical! But that's what Frank and Sandra Eccles managed in August 2016.
Sandra, who plays off a handicap of 12, hit her ace at the 156-yard 14th hole here at Bradford Moor on Tuesday 16th while she was playing in the Kath Stead Trophy. This was Sandra's second hole-in-one.
Husband, Frank , playing off 13, hit his career-first hole-in-one the following day, sinking his tee shot at the same hole as Sandra on his way to winning the Midweek Stableford competition.
Well done to Frank and Sandra!
